UV-sensitive printing plates are reliable, inexpensive and guarantee a long run length with superb printing quality. The basysPrint UV-Setter allows you to keep your existing pre-press process and no changes need to be made to your printing press. Everything can remain the same: same processes, low cost, high quality.

Most UV-sensitive printing plates on the market today can be exposed with the UV-Setter. In the past, many users preferred to use negative UV-sensitive printing plates for the digital exposure with UV-light because of their imaging speed. However, if the image area percentage is high, the use of positive printing plates is recommended.

With the UV-Setter, users can choose their preferred plate type depending on the job requirement:

• Positive plates for commercial offset printing
• Negative plates for sheet-fed offset press
• Positive plates for plate burning (for printing with UV color) for highest run length.

Note:

• Table only includes a sample of plates which can be used with the UV-Setter
• Plate and plate coatings may vary from region to region
• All UV-light sensitive offset printing plates can be imaged with the UV-Setter. Sensitivity, maximum run length and image quality may differ
