Imaging quality
Another unique design feature of the UV-Setter is the tiny, square pixel generated during exposure. Measuring only 11 to 28 µm in size (depending on the resolution), the square pixels generated by the UV-Setter have extremely sharp edges, allowing individual pixels to fit together seamlessly – unlike the round, unclear pixels generated by competing products, which have to overlap to create an image.
This results in:
- Exceptionally high image quality – even at low resolutions
- Substantially shorter RIP time
- Smaller amounts of data
- Valuable memory savings
- Faster exposure
Commercial printing quality up to 230 lpi High quality commercial printing is done with a screen ruling of up to 230 lpi (90L/cm) and a tonal range of 256 grayscales with 1500 dpi. The square pixel is only 17 µm in size.
